The RPPSG is an organization that represents the inshore lobster fishermen and promotes the long term sustainable development of the lobster fishery. The RPPSG is actively responsible for many ongoing projects that create public awareness.

The fishermen wish to share that wealth with consumers.Their mission is to spread knowledge and support for this century-old, typical coastal lifestyle. Lobster fishing deserves to be known and appreciated not only for the tasty quality of lobster meat, but also for the Gaspé fishermen’s continuous efforts to make sure the species thrives for generations to come.
