An expert in maritime operations management, compliance with safety standards, and strategic contract negotiations, he is recognized for his leadership and his ability to actively contribute to ambitious initiatives in marine science and technology.


Geneviève McCormack

Geneviève McCormack

Ms. Geneviève McCormack is a retired executive, formerly Director General of the Canadian Hydrographic Service (2018–2023) at Fisheries and Oceans Canada.

Previously, she served as Director General of Monitoring and Data Services at the Meteorological Service of Canada, within Environment and Climate Change Canada (2012-2018), as well as Director at Natural Resources Canada.

Ms. Andréane Bastien is currently the Executive Director of the Transforming Climate Action program at the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR) since December 2023.

Côté is retired from the Government of Quebec, where she served as an Industrial Development Advisor at the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy (Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie). In this role, she supported businesses and organizations in the maritime sector, contributing to their development and growth.


Francis Roy

Francis Roy

Mr. Francis Roy is a Full Professor and Director of the Department of Geomatics at Université Laval.

He holds a Ph.D. in Planning from the Université de Montréal, as well as a Master's degree in Land Use Planning and Regional Development and a B.Sc.A. in Geomatics, both from Université Laval.

A recognized expert in geomatics and land-use planning, Mr. Roy combines extensive academic experience with a strategic vision for development and innovation in his field.
