ACCORD Bas-Saint-Laurent

Under the ACCORD project (Concerted Action for Regional Cooperation for Development), the Bas-Saint-Laurent is associated with areas of the North Shore and Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine in the development of this niche of excellence. This niche is also on the combination of a set of companies whose activities, in addition to being connected to the marine sector are related and interdependent. This niche also helps strengthen ties between different research communities, technology transfer and training, and between these media and businesses. Thus, these companies and research environments become real stakeholders and partners in the development of a regional production system.
